The flowering time is between the month of June and November.
In Thailang this species can be found in the North, Northeast, South and Central Region.

Previously registred as Vanda luzonica var immaculata, it is registres as a full specie since 2000.
The fragance is very close to the one of Rhynchostylis gigantea.
