Dendrobium paishii

from India then eastwards all over South East Asia this species can be found - in Thailand in the North, the Upper Northeast and the West of the Country.

Here - in Thailand - the flowering time is between March and June, in most countries however between February and march. The epiphyte most likely will be found in aereas of 600m to 1800m above sea level. the flowers is about 5 cm across, 1 to 3 flowers per node. Sepals and Petals are reddish purple, Lip has dark reddish purple markings.
