Paphiopedilum godefroyae
This terrestrial species is endemic to Thailand, growing among limestone rocks in the Southern part of the country.
The plant shown I found at a Thai Royal Project in the village of Doi Angkhan.
This flower - i saw during a competition - was about 10 cm across ( normal width is up to 8 cm ), sepals and petals are white with dark purplish spots, the lip pouch is white.

The plant shown was exhibited as species, but personally I think that this one is a hybrid understanding that species ask for identical parents. The normal species known to me show the purplish spots not that "dense". What do you think?
