Vanda Phrao Sky Blue

Phrao is a small town about 90 km north of Chiangmai. My friend Sanon Apicho ( API Orchids ) operates his farm there in about 650m above sea level. In Thailand they call him "King of Vanda" since he owns around 10.000 plants of this genus. One of his creations, the Vanda Phrao Sky Blue, I would like to introduce to you; a Vanda coerulea and a Red Vanda had been crossed. The plant shown is about 6 years old, 1m tall. The flowers have a diameter of about 10cm.
