Vanda roeblingiana
In 1894 Robert Rolfe named this species after the American Charles Roebling of the State of New Jersey.
This species is endemic on the island of Luzon, epiphytic and growing in very shady forests, mostly above 1600m. The Labellum is three lobed, lateral lobes are small and upright, the mid lobe is fan shaped and quite large for a Vanda.
The plant shown in the pictures, owner Dr. Sahha Toolapong, I found during a competition in Chiangmai, Thailand.

Fantastic !!!! This specie has an unique labellum. I recently bought one but I am not sure it will bloom as it is a much more cool/warm specie. Thanks for sharing.
